Why Patreon?

If you haven’t heard by now we launched a Patreon this week.

If you don’t know what Patreon is: it’s a subscription service that benefits artists. Wherein, you pay a certain monthly fee, and in return you get stuff curated by the artist. It can be anything, and we spent a lot of time thinking about what we could offer and what it would be worth to us.

The main reason we did so is that we often find ourselves sitting on music and videos that don’t make sense for a public release (yet, or ever) but want to be able to share them with the people that care the most.

We went back and forth for probably a year about this. We had to answer the question for ourselves, “Why would people want to pay us a subscription?” We thought a lot about it and honestly: we guessed. We know Patreon will not be for everyone, but for the select few who want to support us and what we do, we thought up some ideas that WE would want to see from our favorite bands if they were to start a Patreon.

What we’ve complied to be able to share with you includes…

- Hear unreleased music and demos
- Learn about mixing, video editing and other practical skills
- See unreleased concerts dating all the way back to 2015
- Get real insight into the music industry
- See videos we make before the general public
- Guitar and bass tones
- Merch discounts
- Private message boards
- Producer packs and stems
- Recording and writing livestreams
- And a lot more…

If you are someone who is currently subscribed on Twitch, we want you to decide for yourself if making the switch to Patreon works for you. We certainly don’t expect both. We just feel that with Patreon, we’ll be able to give you a lot more.

Prices range from $5/month (a literal cup of coffee) all the way to $100/month, and some in between. We think there’s something for everyone, but if you subscribe and you think we’re missing something, please reach out, we want to make it the best possible version of itself for all of you.

Click the link below to see what we have to offer. There’s already a few things posted, and I guarantee you a lot more will come in the next year.
